Mental Dynamite (Incomplete Set)

Valued at $15,000.00
Mental Dynamite: The Philosophy of American Achievement by Napoleon Hill. Clinton, South Carolina: Jacobs Press, first published 1941 (the copies in this set dated 1941–1943). Hill's success philosophy issued as a run of slim, staple-bound lesson booklets in printed light-blue wrappers, each devoted to a single principle of personal achievement. Because it was produced in the opening years of the Second World War — a period of strict wartime paper rationing — Mental Dynamite was never widely distributed and only small quantities were printed, which makes surviving booklets genuinely scarce today.
This is an incomplete set: it carries duplicates of some lessons and is missing others. The seventeen booklets present are:
Lesson 1 — Definiteness of Purpose (2 copies)
Lesson 2 — The Master Mind
Lesson 4 — Applied Faith
Lesson 6 — Organized Individual Endeavor
Lesson 7 — Creative Vision
Lesson 8 — Self-Discipline
Lesson 9 — Organized Thought
Lesson 10 — Learning from Defeat
Lesson 11 — Inspiration
Lesson 12 — Controlled Attention
Lesson 13 — The Golden Rule Applied
Lesson 14 — Team Work
Lesson 15 — Budgeting Time, Energy, Thought and Substance (2 copies)
Lesson 16 — Cosmic Habit-Force (2 copies, dated 1942 and 1943)
That leaves Lessons 3 and 5 absent from the set.
