Volume 1 (1971) of the Ensign. The inaugural volume of the church’s official magazine, first issued in January 1971 to replace the Improvement Era and other older periodicals under the Priesthood Correlation program. It gathers the magazine’s first year of general conference addresses, First Presidency messages, doctrinal articles, and church news.
